Call some you know, disguising your voice tell them that their is a serious fault with the phone system, and that they must not make, or answer, any calls for the next 5 minutes. Warn them that if they do, the person on the other end of the line could be electrocuted.

Call back in a couple of minutes, when they answer scream "AARGH" into the receiver!
