Old prank but very effective...

Get some strong glue and 2 quarters. Glue them to the sidewalk next to each other. Then just back and enjoy the entertainment... Most people will try and pick up the first quarter, fail, and then try the other! Works great in busy streets!

Make a tiny pin hole in the side of a $5 bill, then put some clear fishing line through it. Sit down and hold the string in your hand. Whenever someone trys to pick it up, jerk the string.

One night, tape the lottery on TV, the next day buy a lottery ticket. Choose the numbers on the ticket so that they match the winning numbers from the program you taped.

Invite a friend round, and have the tape playing in the background on the TV. Make sure your friend doesn't realise that it's a tape (it helps to tape for about 20-30 minutes before and after). Produce your lottery ticket just as the lottery is coming on. Then appear astounded when your ticket appears to be a winner!
